Activate your Student Account

My UTMartin Portal is a portal that provides users with a convenient way to access multiple campus services with one account. You can find your username and password here.

Your username and password were assigned to you when you were accepted to the University. You will find your UT Martin username and password in your acceptance letter.

Complete the FAFSA

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Apply for Housing

We make sure campus living is a positive experience! The UT Martin Office of Housing provides a fully trained staff of residence hall directors and resident assistants who tend to the needs of residents. Students enrolled with fewer than 45 completed credit hours before the first day of fall classes are required to live on campus. Students living in the Tennessee counties of Weakley, Obion, Gibson, Carroll, or Henry and the Kentucky counties of Fulton, Hickman and Graves have the option to commute to campus.

Accepted students have the opportunity to fill out an application in our Scholarship Aviator and be eligible for hundreds of private donor-funded and departmental scholarships!

Let us Know You’re Committing to UT Martin

Complete your Intent to Enroll Survey. This is a non-binding survey to let us know you plan on attending UT Martin!

Attend a Future Skyhawk Reception

Future Skyhawk Receptions are designed to help you learn more about UT Martin, your intended major, and meet other admitted students. Plus, you are entered to win a Scholarship! You will receive an invitation to the reception located nearest you via email and mail.

Accept Scholarships and Financial Aid

Accept Scholarships in your UT Martin Portal. Once logged in, click “Accept your Scholarship” in the Admissions Checklist..

Register for SOAR

SOAR is Summer Orientation and Registration! This is a 1-day orientation experience designed to introduce you to the university and ease your transition to college life. Our hope is to help you feel confident in your decision to attend UTM, comfortable and welcomed to our diverse campus, connected with fellow classmates and curious about the opportunities available to you. Register for SOAR here!

Deadline: February 1st – August 1st

Submit your Immunization Records or Exemption

Immunization records or exemptions can be submitted to the Office of Student Health and Counseling Services.

Deadline: October 1st - Move in Weekend

Satisfy EVEA Requirement

Most students satisfy the Enrollment Verification for Entitlements Act requirement by completed the FAFSA for which their US citizenship or eligible non-citizenship status is confirmed by the federal government. To submit other documentation to satisfy the EVEA requirement and to review information regarding students who are exempt, visit www.utm.edu/evea.

You can select a Meal Plan at SOAR or on Banner Self-Service. You can view meal plan options here.

Purchase Books

Textbooks can be purchased through your Banner Self-Service > Students > Order textbooks online, or by clicking this link.

Submit your Final Transcripts

Have your high school counselor send your final transcripts to:

Register Your Vehicle

All students are allowed to have a vehicle on campus, however, you do not have to have a vehicle to get around town! Martin offers amenities and stores within walking distance of campus. All vehicles must be registered with Public Safety. Vehicle registration instructions.
