Hello!! I am Jayda Disney. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in strategic communication & public relations at UT Martin in May 2026. In August 2026, I will begin working toward my Master of Arts in Strategic Communication.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and golfing.
I am excited to meet these hardworking students, help them have an amazing summer experience, and getting them excited for their future college years!

Hello! My name is Mason Elliott, and I am from Paris, TN. I am a rising senior double majoring in philosophy and political science and a University Scholar. I am excited to be a part of this year’s Governor’s School program and look forward to guiding the scholars and sharing what makes UT Martin such a special place!
Harley Gulley
Hello! My name is Harley Gulley, and I am from Winchester, TN! I graduated from UTM this spring with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, with a concentration in Education. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, and I’m currently learning how to play piano and guitar! I also love to travel and will be going to Japan this July!
I’m so excited to be a counselor for the Governor's School of Humanities, and I can’t wait to make this summer a great one!
Madde Stephenson
Hello! My name is Madde Stephenson and I am an upcoming junior at UT Martin pursuing a psychology major and a neuroscience minor. I am in the University Scholars Program here on campus and I am a worship leader at my church just down the road, First Baptist Martin. While I’m from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Martin is my second home, and I’m so excited to be back as a counselor this summer! I can’t wait to meet everyone and help make this summer the best it can be!
