The University of Tennessee at Martin proudly presents the 2025 Mid-South Ag Finance Conference. The Dunagan Chair of Excellence in Banking and the Gilbert Parker Chair of Excellence in Food and Fiber proudly mark the 27th anniversary of this esteemed event. This conference is dedicated to providing agricultural professionals with the most current and relevant financial tools and economic information necessary to optimize operational profitability. The conference's mission is to disseminate high-caliber, timely, and practical financial strategies and economic analyses to individuals with significant agricultural investments.
The Mid-South Ag Finance Conference features a distinguished roster of nationally recognized experts in agricultural finance, economics, and meteorology. This year's speakers include Dr. Dave Kohl, Eric Snodgrass, Scott Sartor, and Dr. Brian Briggeman. Furthermore, a panel of agricultural producers will offer expert insights and strategic guidance designed to enhance agricultural businesses, family enterprises, and personal financial management. Their presentations will provide in-depth analyses and informed perspectives on global economics, trade dynamics, agricultural market trends, and the impact of weather and climate change on business strategies.
The conference fosters a dynamic environment for engagement, making it an invaluable opportunity for agricultural stakeholders. We extend a warm welcome to farmers, agricultural lenders, agribusiness owners, managers, and family members who play crucial roles in agricultural operations. We also encourage lenders and agribusiness representatives to invite valued and prospective clients. Students are invited to attend and gain firsthand knowledge of contemporary agricultural business challenges.
